​​​Sylvia Bognar, L. Ac., MSOM is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. Her first acupuncture treatment in 2009 was a life changing experience which triggered her desire to learn more about her newly found passion. 

In 2010 she was accepted in the Master’s Program at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA. She completed her education and 850 clinical internship hours at Dongguk University Los Angeles, graduating

Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine. 

As a healthcare practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, Sylvia uses a holistic and integrative approach to uncover the root cause of an issue. Her treatment course is personally specialized to help strengthen and fortify each patient in their healing process. By restoring balance and harmony in the body, the symptoms are relieved and the root cause is uncovered and resolved. 

Sylvia’s clinical interests include pain management, stress and mood disorders, healthy aging, sleep disorders, digestive disorders, eye health, strengthening the immune system, and personalized herbal therapy and nutritional counseling. She is dedicated to  helping her patients regain and maintain complete and total health, with an emphasis on prevention and wellness.
